Came because hankering for Soul Food and to support small business. Around 7pm at night all the tables was turned so doesn’t seem welcoming for Dine-in. I was the only customer. There was 1 fellow working the kitchen and said half the menu is out of stock. I ordered Soul Food Fried Chicken Dinner, Shrimp 12 piece dinner, 2x Banana Pudding. He wrote the order down. They don’t take credit card - payment via Cashapp… By the time I got home, there was no Cornbread which is included with the Fried Chicken Dinner, and no banana puddings… The Shrimp dinner uses no bigger than 31/40 shrimp they were very small. I reached out for a refund for the missing items - no answer back. Needless to say the experience spoiled the taste of the food. What a Tragedy
So… I was craving some good old soul food && THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY IS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE EVER ORDERED FROM… I got black eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread && banana pudding. If you haven’t ordered from here… YOU ARE MISSING OUT. The staff are good ole family folks! They are quick, && the prices of their OUTSTANDING food is is all around ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The maximum is five stars but I think this place and the people deserve much more! The food was extraordinarily good, I love this kind of food and finding this place took me way too long because I wish I had found it a year ago, I cannot emphasize enough how good this place really is. If you have not been here, you need to head there right now! I love good collard greens and they are very hard to find, Ginger doesn't like collards but I only got two small bites because she ate it all! That's how good it was!
