The beef was very salty, broccoli over cooked, rice hard like it was sitting there for a long time and oily from heat and dehydration. I wonder if they have a supervisor at the premise.
After walking the mall for a lengthy amount of time, we ended up in the food court. There are many options, but we decided on King Kong Express. We were excited about trying something new, since we don’t have one in our area. That excitement quickly changed once we received our food. It looked amazing but looks are deceiving, because it was totally disgusting. You couldn't eat the pepper steak because it was too salty. The chicken tasted like it was from the frozen section at Walmart. It was hard, chewy breading because there wasn't hardly any meat. The fried rice was tasteless, with the exception of having an old refrigerator taste. The fried rice I cook, actually tastes way better than what was served. I tried using soy sauce & my daughter tried the duck sauce, that didn't help. I went back to the counter, they offered white rice to replace the friend rice & gave me sweet & sour sauce for the chicken. That didn't help. My stomach begin to hurt, so I just went back to our hotel to rest. I would suggest trying a different restaurant in the food court.
Very food-court. Exactly that taste. The sweet and sour chicken is tolerable—unlike the pepper steak, which is aggressively salty.
