Nice atmoshere, however, the food is terrible and overpirced. $42 for Steak Fritts where the steak was inedible; tough with an off-taste. I choked down a few bites and left the rest. Wine priced with about a 300% mark-up. Not a good value or experience. The breakfast is high priced as well, what you get for your money is not worth it; $16 for oatmeal, $20 for over-easy eggs that are scorched on the outside yet runny whites on the inside. Poor quality food, for a high price. On a good note, the service is decent. Reason for the 1 star, the food; I don't care how good the service and atmousphere is, if the food is not good, that is all that matters. There are too many other options near by. I would suggest you try them.
We were staying at the Marriott for a family wedding, there was a big group of us as well as several sports teams there for the weekend. I’m not sure if the hotel did not communicate with the restaurant, but the restaurant was severely understaffed, did not appear to have a manager on duty and the 3 people that were working in the dining room (2 servers and 1 busser) seemed incompetent. We had to clear tables so that we could sit down (bad sign right off the bat), when we were finally able to order, we ordered food and coffee and water…never got the coffee or the water. Food took a long time and came out cold. It tasted fine but would have been so much better hot. Also, could not eat it right away because we didn’t have silverware. Would recommend people plan to eat outside of the hotel, especially if you have a large group. This establishment is not equipped or prepared for a busy breakfast or lunch hour.
