Here, the tsuma (shredded daikon) was crisp and the lettuce was actually fresh—not the wilted, browning mess you often find. The ginger dressing had that punchy, bright flavor that saves a starter salad. • Miso Soup Authenticity: It’s a small detail, but finding actual tofu in the miso soup is a rarity in the US. I had the best experience at this restaurant today. I was able to spend some much-needed time with my two kids and my daughter-in-law and it couldn’t have been better. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. We had such a lovely evening together with full bellies, amazing food, and the most welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
We had an AMAZING dinner experience last night at Koji in Northville. The service was top notch. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The soup and salad was on point, but the fish was truly amazing. We got 5 different nigiri and 5 rolls to feed a party of four. It was the perfect amount of food. The fish was so fresh and tender. Nothing was fishy at all. The whole dinner was a huge success and I was very impressed with the quality of sushi. We have eaten sushi all over the United States and throughout many parts of the world and Koji can stand up to the best of them. Perfect cuts. Flawless texture. I can’t wait to go back!
