Cashier was helpful and friendly with the menu choices. I ordered a chicken katsu don for the first time. The chicken and rice were soggy, like it had been cooked a while ago and microwaved. My lunch companion said it was definitely not how it should be prepared.
This place was so good! Discovered what Donburi was in SF a few months back and so happy there is a Donburi spot near home! Food was amazing and great portions for the price and I can not stress this enough, the pork belly was melt in your mouth wanting 15 servings good.
Really delicious japanese donburi/rice bowl dishes. They have chicken, pork cutlets, beef and unagi, you can also add curry for a few bucks. Especially recommend the curry as all the flavor just mixes together really well. The portion is large, especially the appetizers, the chicken karage is huge for $10. Has been coming here at least a few times a week, never had any problems with the food or service. Highly recommend.
