100/10 experience. Food and drinks were out of this world. Staff recommendations were on point, and I love how they explained the flavor profiles in each item. Can’t wait to go back!
Wow! What a wonderful culinary adventure! We stuck to the nigiri and everything was delicious and so creative. I love when chefs get creative with their sauces on nigiri, but I had never had Texan flavors fused with sushi before. Can’t wait to go back! (And my drink from the Papercut bar was also excellent!)
Experiencing Tare's omakase about 6 months back has inevitably brought me straight to Konbini as soon as I heard about it. Same expertise & quality food. We had the Cucumber Salad, Egg Sando (chef's kiss), Kanpachi Nigiri, Sea Bream Nigiri, and Striped Jack Nigiri (flavor explosion). There wasn't a single item that we didn't enjoy thoroughly. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the Kinmedai Nigiri (sold out), A5 Wagyu Nigiri, and Potato Salad Sando (not on menu atm). Plus we didn't try the O Toro Nigiri this time around bc we already knew how outstanding it was from Tare. However, we will certainly be back to try all these items and more. This spot will certainly be in my limited sushi rotation from now on.
