2 months agoDon't let the outside or inside interior stop you from coming. Does it look old yes, does the inside walls and cleanliness make you question the food yes, but after the first bite of that hot krispy fried chicken leave the doubt to those who don't know. Chicken was hot, fresh, and krispy out the grease bout a six minute wait that was worth every bite. The only thing I'd change are the fries they are soft, soggy, and bland. I dont know how the other sides taste but I'll try a different side next visit. Also I wanted to try the peach cobbler but they sold out. Maybe that's a good sign. I opted for the strawberry cream pie, and a good choice it was.

5 months agoI’ve been eating this chicken since a baby and I really want some today but I waited too long, now I’m looking at pictures of it. They are some of the kindest people and I love the chicken.. they deserve the world! They have chicken fried steak too!

2 years agoFirst time getting chicken from here and I will tell you it will not be the last definitely the best chicken in waco hands down my new favorites spot for chicken unfortunately it’s only cash but definitely worth it Highly recommended!!!!!!

2 years agoDrove from north dallas to try the hype. I did just that it was good food was good meet with the owner she's 85 years old and the food is really good. Don't be scared by the ascetic of the place it's really good food every thing was fresh I will definitely be back just for the good conversations and food.

Edited 3 years agoIt's the best fried chicken in Waco. Unlike the other national chicken chains, there is always a line. It's fresh, it's hot but it's cash only. You can only get it Monday thru Friday. They don't need the weekend business. Here's the secret be pro and know your order. Don't ask a bunch of questions. People will not be happy. Oh forget the mention of the Fish Basket, world-class! I got the 3 piece with an added Chicken Thigh, I ate the 1st Fish " Fillet" Strip, sorry
