Get there early if you want the best selection. I got there late and had the option of bologna or turkey. I have never before had a smoked bologna sandwich with coleslaw and barbecue sauce and was amazed. Delicious barbecue beans as a side. 4 people are for around $40 .
One of the first places we found to grab a bite when we moved to the area. We love it! The food is fantastic. I love the loaded tater...its two meals for me, and he likes the pulled pork plate. Dinner beans are so yummy I always need to get a side. The location is a bit out of the way, but so worth the trip. Get there early cuz when the food is gone he is closed. Its delicious! You wont leave hungry.
We heard this was good so we took a Saturday morning drive up the hill. The pulled pork was wonderful and very tender, potato salad had a unique flavor that was marvelous. I’m generally somewhat ambivalent about potato salad but my wife and I were both taken by it. The beans were equally good. Not just canned beans but very flavorful in thick mildly sweet sauce. The owner was super nice and went out of his way to take care of us. We’ll be back with family.
