Need a menudo fix! La Dona is your connection! Excellent Mexican food and great service! Just had a very satisfying brunch experience at La Dona this morning, all of us enjoyed a bowl of menudo. It came with a generous side garnish of onion and lime. A refreshing horchata made an excellent accompaniment! Almost forgot, the chips and salsa were fantastic, the salsa had a delicious chili verde that had been fire roasted, muy bueno! I was still a little hungry after the menudo, nothing that a chicharrón burrito wouldn’t fix, the chicharrón was also muy bueno!
Our server was good, however we specifically asked if the enchiladas had onion we were told no, when the plate came it had lots of onions on it, sent it back, and got something else, while paying the manager was very sarcastic and argumentative. That's what we asked to begin with, never coming back here again.
CASH ONLY. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes, that comes with beans and 2 eggs. In my opinion everything needed salt or seasoning. The chilaquiles tastes like a canned picked jalapeño sauce. Not authentic in my opinion. I would not go back
