I'm very much unhappy with this place. My son and I didn't get the food that we ordered and we told the waiter that are ordered was wrong. He didn't know what to do and he admitted that he had messed it up. He left the food on our table and walked off. I told him that we couldn't eat it because it was wrong! We didn't have time for them to make another order because we had to leave. When I went to pay for my daughter's order and for our drinks they still made me pay for the food that I didn't get to eat!!! That's WRONG!! Not sure if I will ever go back there again!!!! ( and we usually go 3 times a week) .
We live in Florida, but would drive 20 miles to this restaurant bc it was pretty good food. The past several times(7 times to be exact, bc I kept giving them chances to redeem themselves)we've eaten there it's been really bad. Wrong food orders, funny tasting food, and cheese dip that looked AND TASTED like Velveeta was added to it to stretch it. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. We won't be back....it's just not good. 💔 we spent $47 on food we had to throw away.
The food and waiting service were really good. The place looked clean. I didn't visit the restroom while there, but everything else was clean. There are a lot of menu choices, but the menu doesn't make it clear that they serve adult beverages. We had to ask. There was no place on the menu for drinks and pricing. There was a collage photo on back of menu of all the offered sodas, but no price for those either. All the employees I encountered were very friendly and courteous. The Mexican guacamole was very good! I always order guacamole at this establishment because theirs is so good. I have never been disappointed by La Leyenda. I am not a regular diner, but I have been taken care of anytime I visit.
