Food, service, and atmosphere were great. Authentic & flavorful. Didn't have to wait long to be seated, however the food was a little bit of a long wait. It was also a large party there so that could have been a factor. Can't wait to return. Piña Colada was very good also.
Food is delicious. Authentic and tasty. Plenty options to go with. The sampler is a meal on its own. Just add a side of rice. Must try if you're craving Puerto Rican food.
Overall The food was good but when it was first brought out to me the meat and platanos maduros were extremely cold. Don’t know what happened there. I asked to reheat my food and it came back a tab warm. The overall flavor of the food was good and the parcha drink ( passion fruit juice) was delicious . This was my second time coming and it was a very distinct from the first. Im about 50 mins away. The place seemed To be alive and workers seemed excited and enjoying themselves however This time it wasn’t the case. This is not to put down this business down as its known for great food and serve really good puerto rican cuisine. Maybe it was just one of those days. Hopefully it can regain the excitement as before.
Heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try. I came specifically for the mofongo. My mofongo did not taste fresh texture wise and it was not hot. My husband had pernil, rice and maduros and had to get it sent back to because it was also cold. It came out the exact same way, they didnt replate it or anything , just microwaved it. Sucks because flavor was good overall but flavor can't compensate for temperature and texture and service. Kids meals meats and rice w beans were good because they were fried strips and pork chop, which had to be fried, thats the only reason why their temp on food was good. My daughters maduros however were also cold and must've been sitting. Overall I dont see a reason to come back. I cant justify $50 for cold meals.
This was really really good , entrees Papa rellena and Alcapuria excellent, the beef for the trifongo super soft and tasty.. and to finish that sweet Flan de queso very balance and Rico
First time here and it was amazing we felt like we were in Puerto Rico, the food was so delicious and the shrimp I had was like the ones I ate at Naguabo’s Malecon omg. The one who attended us name is Frangely and she was kind and friendly and very attentive to if we needed anything and made sure we was okay loved her! We will for sure be back and recommend, our new favorite spot. Thank you Gely!
Authentic Puertorican food!! Tastes like my mother in law was in the kitchen! Everything we ordered was delicious down to the drinks. We definitely will be back.
At first, I was hesitant on going to this restaurant because of the mixed reviews. But after experiencing it first hand I honestly can say it's a top-notice restaurant that represented Puerto Rican dishes beautifully. With a friendly staff and a family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend checking them out. The best time to come is early because the food sells out fast. Also, we didn't have any food poisoning or anything of that nature. Even had coffee and it was a strong overall experience was extraordinary 👍
