See All ReviewsFood was good but service was a little whack. While waiting for my food, I watched employees step out from behind the counter multiple times to greet customers, exchange hugs with the food safe gloves on, and then go right back to preparing the food. Dude, what? Also, it was around a 25 minute wait for a sandwich and a cup of soup. Wouldn’t have been as bent out of shape about it if I didn’t see the kitchen rush a large order for a family they appeared to be friends with, while myself and others were waiting twiddling our thumbs. Don’t get me wrong, it is a friendly cute vibe but apparently this counter is primarily a meet and greet station for friends and family.
I absolutely love this restaurant and the people who run it. This is the best Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup - Euro you will ever have and the Carbonnade / Belgian Stew is also amazing. I crave their food regularly. You can tell the owners are passionate about their food and go above and beyond. I highly recommend LPK!
Love the croque monsieur, ratios were perfect and the pickles went so well with it. Carbonnade was good and a different eating experience than I expected even knowing the ingredients.Good food without outrageous prices. I will definitely come back for more.
