See All ReviewsI was looking forward to trying this restaurant in Annandale, VA and support a small business in our community. I could not believe the treatment that I received. First of all, my family walked in and there was no sign or a person to seat us. Later my when we asked for a menu, the lady was rude and just asked us to read the chalkboard that was half erased. We sat at one table and it as dirty, went to another table it was worse. There were fork and knives on the ground. We just decided to go somewhere else. It is a shame that the owner invests so much in a restaurant and not do anything about it. Will not be going back
One of the best Bolivian restaurants in the dmv I have tried so far. The service was great, food was delicious. The portions are big enough for 2 people honestly.. with that being said the prices were very fair. Will definitely be going back again.
My most recent visit to this place was mediocre at best. The staff was very rude and distracted when taking our orders and gave my family attitude when we wanted to switch to a smaller table. We waited over 30 minutes for our food and it was not worth it at all. The Lapping, which is traditionally a flavorful dish served with meat and sauce, was the driest meat I have ever eaten. There was no seasoning on it whatsoever and it was gray from how long they let it boil on the pan. The potato and fava beans that come with it were also incredibly dry despite being boiled to cook, and the salad that came with the dish overcompensated with so much oil it was inedible. Just a sad, dry plate with no sauce or flavor that they have the audacity to charge $20 for. Additionally, every time I have come to this restaurant, the music was so loud I had to wear earplugs. If you want a pleasant experience to talk with friends and have good food DO NOT come here.
