a month agoLa Terraza is a lively Mexican restaurant in Southwest Detroit that’s known for its authentic food and fun atmosphere. Located on West Vernor Highway in the Mexicantown area, it serves traditional Mexican dishes, seafood, and classic favorites for lunch and dinner. I ordered tacos and fajitas, and the food was flavorful and very satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. Their seafood dishes and sizzling fajitas are especially popular on the menu. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, and sometimes there’s live music or entertainment, which makes the experience more fun than a typical restaurant visit. Overall, La Terraza is a great place if you want authentic Mexican food and a vibrant dining experience in Detroit.

4 months agoThis was the 1st time we visited this placed and we were really surprised by the amazing flavors on every dish we ordered. They b don't only have sesame food, but all kind of Mexican food including tacos, birria, pozole, etc. The service was very friendly and fast, the portions were big and delicious 😋. We ordered tostadas (fish 🐟, octopus 🐙, shrimp 🍤) and all were amazing, we also ordered agua Chile, also delicious and the Molcajete Pacifico which was INCREDIBLE 😋👍🏽👍🏽. WE WILL COME BACK FOR SURE.

6 months agoFood is authentic and great. Been twice and both times, fantastic. The salsas are really good too. Atmosphere is nice. Quiet and relaxed during lunch. Ramped up a bit with live dj in the evening o weekends. Ill be back again

7 months agoSalsas were kinda odd ngl. Both were lacking flavor. The Mexican sandwich i ordered was good. Reasonably priced

a year agoFamilia Grande. A warm inviting and hospitable restaurant with a full bar and plenty of tables. They have a huge menu and probably too many choices! Great food and wowza margaritas! This place is so authentic that the waitress didn’t speak English but was very nice and friendly with us. I think my favorite thing was the live music that was playing during our dinner with no cover charge!!!

2 years agoI loved this place so much I ordered quite a bit and my server was super sweet I ended up getting a little bit of everything mostly the seafood but it was amazing, please don’t let the outside steer you away from this super authentic super delicious food. 5 stars for amazing service delicious food and great prices
