2 months agoVisited La Tolteca recently and overall had a really good experience. The place has a nice, casual vibe and feels like a solid spot for a relaxed night out. I tried one of their beer cocktails out of curiosity, but it wasn’t really for me - just didn’t hit the right balance. That said, everything else made up for it. The regular beers were great, and the nachos and sides were honestly the highlight - fresh, flavorful, and perfect to share. Service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was comfortable without being too loud. Definitely a spot I’d come back to, just sticking to the classic beers next time.

4 months agoI guess I should have mentioned properly that I want GUACAMOLE, the one with Avocados and not TOMATO GUACAMOLE for $15.

7 months agoFast service here. I got the Tacos Chepes. It was a deep fried street taco with barbacoa pork and onions inside. Came with homemade hot sauce and barbecoa sauce. Fried ice cream was large enough to share with a second person.

11 months agoWell it’s Sunday Night … I guess everybody heard that we were going to go there and eat so they wanted to go there and eat too . 😂 Even though it was packed, Customer Service was great. Food was coming out nice and hot and the servers communicated with everyone. We ordered our favorite nacho supreme, but this time I added shrimp with mine, and the Mrs. ordered a margarita Icey. Everything was great . So if you have time swing on by the second Street to some good Hispanic food & service.

a year agoAwesome spot. I'm so glad I stopped in for lunch! 1pm Tue afternoon. The interior was nice, very pleasantly decorated. One large screen t v for sports fans. There was an outside fenced-in patio with umbrellas. The prices were extremely reasonable. Food came out hot & fresh. The service was prompted to the point, excellent!! I would definitely go back!!!

a year agoI really loved the inside setting also I had the combo fajitas.. very delicious and generous portion came with tortillas and free tortilla chips and salsa

2 years agoHaving the chorizo n cheese dip along with the arroz con pollo was good. Now to compare this to the other location on Richmond rd, the other one has the better food. The location on 2nd street was a bit bland. But either way it doesn’t stop me from going again.

7 years agoMy family and I had a fantastic lunch at Tolteca. The food was delicious and the service was quick and polite. Pricing is also very reasonable. We had a wide selection of food and enjoyed it all. Be careful not to over order! But then again we got to enjoy more of it at home later! Definitely recommended.
