I have been coming here for years for Banh Xeo and today was the worst experience and not coming back unless they change back their quality of Banh Xeo. I understand each person would have their own taste and expectation, but it used to be very Crispy and decently thin. Today, I came in and asked for extra Crispy and to my suprise... It came out all soft and soggy... Which I was like... Ok.. Maybe the cook didn't get the message... So I will try to eat it. Anyhow, got to the piece in the middle and it was EXTRA Thicken wih Flour and uncooked. I showed the lady and her response... "Its always been like that and it looks good to me. Maybe I just didn't notice before." That just enough for me to ask for the bill and left. I have been coming here for over 10 years and she told me I do not know about their food. It was not the old owner, but a new lady. Maybe she is the new owner I guess.
Come here for their famous bánh xèo — a Vietnamese crispy, savory crêpe filled with pork belly, shrimp, and bean sprouts. To enjoy it the traditional way, wrap a piece of the crêpe in fresh herbs and leafy greens, roll it up, and dip it into the tangy fish sauce. Crepe was thin and crispy, perfectly cooked. Server was friendly and the place feels like you eat at someone’s house. Very cozy.
