Unable to give any stars for food. We waited more than a half an hour. Others were served after us. It's a shame. Service well good luck. You can seat yourself as long as your table isn't dirty. First time there but will never be back. Thanks for the experience.
The service was good, the food was great, I enjoyed the fish very much. We live in Iowa and they don't know what salt fish is. I am originally from this area and I love salt fish. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
We had breakfast today at Lafayette Diner and were very pleased with our experience. It has a true mom-and-pop feel with great service and very reasonable prices, especially considering the current economy. From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, it genuinely felt like we were regulars, even though it was our first visit. We sat at the small bar, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The food came out quickly, and our drinks were consistently refilled without even having to ask. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back!
