GREAT FOOD AND GREAT PRICE, EVERYTHING IS FRESH AND THE COBBLERS ARE A NICE END TO THE MEAL! WAITRESSES ARE ATTENTIVE AND NICE, JUST WISH THEY WERE OPEN MORE THAN JUST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY,
Meh! It's food, not the worst I've ever had but not a WOW. I guess if you're a big eater who can pile a plate twice you might find it worthwhile. But there are better buffets in the area. Was better when it was Bill's. The "chicken tender" was shaped like a cigar?? Dry, didn't find any kind of dipping sauce. Some kind of smothered pork chop was also dry. I'm not much of a fish eater but hubby said it was just ok. Not bad but not gooood. Atmosphere, non existent. All the charm of a church bingo hall. For what we paid we could have had a superior meal and leftovers for the next day. And I've been told the fish on the buffet is not catfish, you have to pay extra to order real catfish. These are experienced restaurant owners. I expected better.
Today we met the owner and he was a great guy. Found out he worked at Lone Star Steel which are are very familiar with since we are from East Texas. Great food, Gumbo was awesome.
