We're from Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place while in town for the night. We decided to give it a try because of the great reviews - so glad we did. Best Mexican food we've ever had. A fun & unique place. Waitstaff was all super friendly, especially our waiter Carlos. Food was So good!
This cozy Mexican restaurant was a real delight. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our drinks arrived quickly, and the food followed not long after. My wife ordered the chicken nachos and loved every bite. I made a last‑minute choice to try the Arroz con Mariscos — shrimp and scallops served over a bed of rice with warm tortillas — and it turned out to be phenomenal. We noticed several people getting to-go orders, so this establishment must be popular with the locals. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Dubuque!
Wonderful place! Great service, food was excellent, and came out very quickly. Refried beans are the best I've ever tasted (which I never thought I would say!) Will definitely be back!
