Very authentic Beijing style Zhajiangmian. It's not easy to find very authentic Zhajiangmian in any part of the world except China. Happy with the taste and price. Definitely will come back for more noodle.

Lanzhou Noodles on Market Street is a proper no-nonsense, authentic Chinese noodle spot. Handmade noodles, bold flavours, and exactly the kind of place you want if you care more about the food than frills. My husband and I had the oil spicy noodles and the hot dry noodles, the names are very literal translations from their Chinese names, so they might sound a bit odd to British diners, but they’re genuinely authentic dishes you’d find in China. If you’re unsure what to order, honestly just keep coming back and try something different each time, there are so many great flavours to discover! Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other noodle or ramen places in Nottingham city centre that are more expensive and far less authentic. You can also add extra toppings or meat if you want. If you like spicy food, you’ll definitely find something here. The interior also looks newly renovated, clean, simple, and fresh. Highly recommend if you want real Chinese noodles in Nottingham.
