Worth a try if you're in the area! All the items were well done, and the portions were decent as well. They were very accommodating of our large group. The side dishes were good too. Because we had a large party and they only had so much capacity in the kitchen, we had to wait for a couple of fried items, but they were very apologetic about it, and the food quality still held up. Service was friendly, though I could see it being challenging to stay on top of things when the restaurant is busy. They gave us some complimentary choco pies (to thank us for our patience?), which was very kind. The restaurant is tucked away in a plaza, so despite being in the area before, I didn't realize it was there! If you're in the area, worth a stop!
I’ve been coming here since they first opened and it’s easily the best Korean restaurants in the area. The food is always amazing and the service is phenomenal. The potato pancakes are a must order! We also had the japchae, dolsot bibimbap, LA kalbi, and some soups, everything was delicious. Portions are generous and I usually have leftovers to take home. They also serve side dishes that change from time to time, which is always a nice surprise. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend! I went there for lunch again yesterday and tried their new soup, kalbi tang. It instantly became my favourite soup at the restaurant! The broth is rich and the meat is very tender. If you like meat and rice like I do, you should definitely give it a try!
I hadn’t been here for about a year because I was out of the country, and coming back to eat here again somehow made it even better. It was one of the meals I was really looking forward to when I got back, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves one. My entire family came here for dinner and we ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was excellent. I would highly recommend their pancakes — honestly some of the best I’ve had at any Korean restaurant. Perfectly crispy and really flavorful. The side dishes were also fantastic. Everything tasted really fresh and paired perfectly with the mains. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food here. Their jigae (Korean stews) were also outstanding — rich, flavorful, and really comforting. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Korean food. Great dishes and definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🍲🥞
If your ever in Stoufville you have to eat here!!!!! All the dishes were soooooo tasty and delicious. Best Korean food so far!!! I pretty much inhaled the Dolsot Bibimbap and all the side dishes. Watm and welcoming staff! Highly recommend! Will eat here again when I’m in Stoufville.
Came in for a late lunch, left extremely happy. I had the spicy pork — 🔥🔥🔥 so good. My wife had the dolsot bibimbap and literally broke her rice diet for it. Zero regrets 🤣 That alone tells you everything. From the side dishes to the mains, everything was on point. Plus, the hospitality and ambience made it even better — warm, cozy, and welcoming. Officially our favourite Korean spot in Stouffville now. We’ll definitely be back (probably too soon).
The reviews don't lie, this place is a hidden gem in Stouffville and I have been to quite a handful of Korean resturants around the city! I have come here 3 times and every time the food is so delightful. The beef and tofu jjigae, Kim hi jjigae and Korean fried chicken were delicious! I really enjoyed the batter on the Korean fried chicken perfect amount of crisp and juicy with every bite! The Jjigae was delicious, very flavorful I got medium spice which has a good kick but they have spicy and mild options aswell. There is of course side dishes that you get which were tasty: kimchi, pickled kimchi raddish, fish cake and bean sprouts. The staff is super friendly and accommodating I also really like the house tea! This place gets busy for good reason it is delicious and I can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu!
First time trying this place and definitely has that authentic charm. Quaint little sit-down restaurant and friendly servers. Have the Dinner for 2 deal and the portions were amazing! Everything tasted great~ Will be back again soon.
We were in Stouffville for the day and decided to try Laon and are we ever glad we did!! It was just the 2 of us so we had lots of left overs but there were many things we wanted to try. Service from the moment we came in to leaving was excellent! The atmosphere, especially when other diners started showing up felt light and happy. The food is a whole other story! I don’t think I can really put into words how delicious everything was. Just fantastic, fresh and flavourful! We are already planning our order for the next time we’re in town 😅 Thank you 🙏
