Top Reviews
See All ReviewsThe atmosphere and music drew us in. So glad we tried La Place! I enjoyed a fresh salad, spaghetti w/meatballs, and garlic toast! I will be back on a Saturday when they serve Creme Brûlée!
Reheated frozen, prepackaged type food is what we had with no flavor or effort. It’s not a home cooked meal type of place. If you have a different experience you let me know what to order and I’ll try it again. Other than that just know the value isn’t there for what you will pay. Beautiful restaurant, go have a glass of wine there or a beer but skip the food!
Small ma and pa Cajun food in small country town. We travel to southern Louisiana from Sulfur to Fourchon. We eat a lot of Cajun food. When I say “a lot”. This is an understatement. So very leary about eating “Cajun” food here. But wow, the chicken and sausage gumbo was so delicious. Can’t comment about any of their other food. But the gumbo! Well worth it.
