Excellent veggie enchiladas! The waitress & chef were both very accommodating of my dietary request.
Being Cinco de Mayo we had to do our tradition of going out for Mexican food and margaritas. Our usual place was so busy they said an hour and a half wait, so we headed to the other end of town and came here for the first time. The wait was only 20 minutes which was expected for the holiday. When we finally were seated we were put at a table where the AC blew right on us, instead of the booth that had been open for the past 10 minutes in a warm part of the restaurant. We had to keep our jackets on the entire time. Why the AC is on in 50 degree whether!? When we ordered our meals and margaritas, I asked for a sugar rim instead of a salt rim, the server looked at me like I had two heads. When we received our drinks (in a timely manner) he said they were out of sugar, so no sugar rim glass. The margaritas apparently were made from a mix and tasted like it. It was like drinking a watered down lemonade. The food also arrived fairly quick despite the crowd. The food was average. Nothing spectacular and just warm, not hot. The table next to us was having a good time and getting quite loud and drunk, but the staff never asked them to quiet down. The ambiance of the place was not the greatest. Stained ceiling tiles and a hodgepodge of decor. When we finally paid the bill (a little pricy for the quality) we were informed that there is a 3% charge to use a credit card. Overall this was not a good experience and we will certainly NOT be going back here. We should have waited the 1.5 hours at our original choice.
First time here food was very good. Usually don't do dessert but we split a churo ice cream dessert delicious. Restraunt was clean, service was good. Will come back.
