See All ReviewsFrom someone who grew up in Chicago and travels back to Chicago for some good authentic Mexican food- this place is by far the best around the area! Well worth the trip! Al pastor and asada tacos won’t disappoint.
Can’t even begin to explain how good the food was. I got birria tacos, elotes, and Jarritos. I ate the tacos so fast I don’t think I even realized I was done. The elotes was a good, as well. Will definitely come back to try other items in the menu ❤️
DON'T EAT HERE!!!!! I was a faithful customer for years (since they were across the street at the gas station). I sent my wife up there to grab some lunch (nachos to be exact). I'm enjoying them and when I get towards the end, all of a sudden I bite down on something hard. So hard I broke it when I bit it. When I spit it out, I discover it was a whole thumbtack. I showed my wife and she called up there. She spoke to someone that had a really heavy accent. They "okay" and hung up the phone. Feeling disrespected, my wife and I go up there to show them the thumbtack and tell them about our experience over the phone. The man replied "we don't use anything like that here", then attempted to offer us something else to eat. Why would I accept something from a place that just fed me something that could've put me in the hospital (or worse) if swallowed? No apology, no empathy, just defensive nature and rebuttal about something that was totally their fault. If I were you, I wouldn't eat here. They are not careful about their food prep, or faithful customers.
