My recent visit to Las Espuelas Restaurant was an absolute delight, and I can see why this long-standing establishment remains so popular. Despite being a small restaurant, it was packed, which is always a great sign, and the vibrant atmosphere hinted at the delicious experience to come. The Mexican food was truly exceptional, prepared with evident care and served remarkably promptly. Every dish tasted authentically delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous – easily enough for sharing, which is a huge plus. Beyond the main courses, Las Espuelas goes above and beyond with thoughtful complimentary touches. We received a courtesy plate of fresh fruit, which was a pleasant start, and a super delicious flour tortilla generously slathered with butter. To top it all off, they offered a choice of cheesecake or flan on the house, a perfect sweet ending to the meal. While I've heard some mention of varied service depending on the section, my experience in the main part of the restaurant was consistently excellent. The staff were attentive, ensuring our meal flowed smoothly from start to finish. The reasonable prices for such high-quality, generously portioned food make it an incredible value. Las Espuelas truly does their meals right, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The main part of the restaurant was full, we were offered a table at the other section of the restaurant, the waitress was MIA, they served complementary fruit that was hot and seemed spoiled, my mother asked for coffee, the waitress never brought it, it was hot because they had the mini split off, overall not a good experience. Food took a long time, if you are going to eat at this place make sure you go into the main restaurant, the service here is horrible food was good

Excellent place. It’s been here for many years but we just visited. This Mexican food was deliciously prepared and served promptly. It’s a small restaurant and it was packed which is a good sign. We will come back here as soon as we can. They provide a courtesy plate of fresh fruit and a super delicious flour tortilla with butter on it. The plate is generously portioned, enough for sharing! Additionally, they serve a choice of either cheese cake or flan on the house. We’re definitely coming back !
