a month agoNever again-no breakfast anything but 1 plate with eggs. Food was not the best anything except the green salsa. No flour tortillas. Horrible service and the little waitress rolled her eyes. We waited almost 10 minutes for just scrambled eggs. I guess if you’re from this neighborhood you might be used to it.

2 years agoWent if for a quick lunch. I was craving tacos and I saw they had $1.25 tacos. I went in not expecting much. Its definitely a hole in the wall restaurant. Staff was nice and it was clean. Tacos were surprisingly good and not tiny $1 tacos. Caritas and barbacoa were great and served with grilled onions and jalapeños. Definitely going back.

Edited 2 years agoFirst time here & the food was great. Menudo was clean & delicious. (I normally never order menudo, but I’m glad i did today) Their Barbacoa was also clean and really yummy. Will be coming back!

4 years agoPleasantly surprised. Came here for breakfast and everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. We got two Barbacoa, two Carnitas, and some Huevos Rancheros. Came with grilled onions, a serrano, and all the onions and cilantro you can use.

6 years agoWow! This place was really good! I got to try the trompo & barbacoa tacos & I couldn't decide what I like better. I even got one of their pupusas & it was equally delicious. They also have buche, tripa & carnita tacos. Definetly coming back for more! They also serve estrujadas, enchiladas, entomatadas, chilaquiles, menudo & gorditas! Service was fast & friendly. Don't be deterred because yes these are hood tacos. But they are delicious! Gulp up on some agua frescas like horchata, Jamaica or Limon. Ooo did I mention the salsa?? Super flavorful & the red sauce will sneak up on you! Hopefully next time I get a little more cilantro.

6 years agoIt is a great little hole in the wall restaurant. It is not in the best neighborhood but the food is very authentic and flavorful. A very friendly wait staff who could not have been more hospitable. They had the most reasonable prices of any sit restaurant that I have ever seen. Will definitely be returning.
