My wife and have been looking for a peruvian restaurant which serves pollo a la brasa. We visited the Latin Chef to try their pollo a la brasa and fried rice. It was EXCELLENT! We will definitely return. Here is what we "liked"... *Great food, fresh, cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. *excellent service, attentive. Food arrived hot, fresh and all together. Our waitress was on her game. *the restaurant was clean, temperature was comfortable, restroom was clean with paper towels. *soda was in a glass with ice and cold. No paper cups or drink from the can. *the prices are reasonable with the average dish with sides about $20 to $22. *ambiance was tasteful with nice peruvian Latin music in the background not too loud Here is what we did not "like".... *there is nothing negative to write about the Latin Chef. We really recommend the Latin Chef. If you are in east Oceanside and are hungry - give them a chance. You won't be disappointed. John
The food was good and there was lots of it. Our server was very kind and we appreciated her help.
This place is a gem! Went in on a Tuesday night and was sat right away. The service was very warm and welcoming. Provided great service and recommendations. Went with the pollo lomo saltado and took a pescado ceviche home. Wow! Both dishes were bursting with flavor and delicious! We’ll absolutely be back!
