The driver Juan called be within 10 minutes of his expected arrival time and states he would be here in 40 minutes. I explained that this is unacceptable, as I have a 45 minute drive to the therapist's office. I also explain that I was in the middle of a diagnosis in which I would be there for 3 hours stint followed by another 45 minute drive home. He calls me back to tell him he'll be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later he shows up I get into the van and I'm like we have to go straight there. Usually Modivcare will send me in a lyft for rides like these. I was freaking out as this is not the first time that Modivcare subcontracted out to LCH Transportation and the driver was late, rude, and confused as to where they were going, every time. Then once the driver picks you up they are driving erratically all over the place to drop off and pick up a ton of other riders, just to drop you off finally at your destination, 45 minutes to an hour late to your appointment. On this occasion, I had the opportunity to speak with the dispatcher whom was rude and and obviously unaware that they have one job to do and that's to get their riders to their destinations on time and safely! Then, I spoke with the owner of TCH Transportation, George who cursed me out and then told me if I wanted to get to my destination on time that I should procure a limo service. It's sad to see that these horrible Transportation companies including, their CEOs, drivers and dispatchers are running this free program (Modvicare) into the ground causing anxiety for all the riders, wasting their precious time and energy, just to show up to an appointment late and disheveled, if at all.
Considering one of their drivers almost ran me off the road and then proceeded to cut off 6 people in the span of .3 miles i can confidently say that they’ll get u to ur destination on time u might just not make it there alive !!!!
I was waiting for my driver today outside Quest Diagnostics after I was done exactly where the first driver from LCH Medical Transportation dropped me off. The driver got to the address very early and called me. I told him I am waiting for him outside. The building is big and has many medical offices. I tried to explain for him where I am waiting for him. He started to yell at me. He even beeped and told me if hear it. I said yes, which does not make sense since I heard it from the phone. He kept yelling at me and I thought he might be drunk. As a disabled female person over sixty, I was very scared. So I walked away from my location so I do not have to face him. I was very scared from his loud voice and bad temper. Someone from the company called me later, which at that time I was crying from the bad treatment and still walking away from the building. I told the lady who called me how rude their driver was and I told her you know the temper that your driver has. The company knows their drivers and who they hire. First time using LCH Medical Transportation and it will be the last. Horrible service.
