Initially we were unable to get reservations due to holiday and us waiting to the last minute. Although we were called back and given a table and options should we need to give up our table. The service was amazing as was the food and atmosphere. The owner was so accommodating kind and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. Thank you for a great experience with our group of friends on our time here at Saint Martin
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Including a live belly dancer which, along with the ambiance, feels like you're transplanted to a Moroccan town. Outstanding option while visiting St. Maarten and will definitely return. Thank you 😊
Had dinner at this restaurant and it was a truly fascinating experience. We ordered three types of tagine (chicken with lemon confit, lamb with prunes, and kefta with eggs). I’ve been to Morocco twice and I think the dishes at this restaurant were beautifully seasoned. The kefta and lamb were my favorites because they were most flavorful and the meat was tender. We also tried the pastries. The gazelle horn was my favorite and wasn’t overly sweet. The couscous was incredibly light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and the interior of the restaurant is incredibly beautiful and detailed. One detail I loved was the traditional touch they added to the tea service at the end of our meal. Before pouring the Moroccan tea, they splashed a little rose water on our hands to refresh the senses. The tea itself was poured from high above the glass, which is not just for show. It aerates the tea, blends the flavors, and creates the light foam that’s a hallmark of proper Moroccan tea. The restaurant hosts a belly dance performance every Friday and Saturday night, and Natalia, the dancer (trained in Istanbul), was amazing. She performed three routines in three different outfits. She was also very engaging and friendly. I truly recommend going to see her perform. The restaurant also has a henna artist, though we didn’t get a chance to try it.
