See All ReviewsOmg first time having their pizza we did wait over an hour but it was so worth it! I was kinda worried at first cuz of the box it came in and the hand writien receipt but wow it was amazing reminded me of a good ole mom and pop shop pizza places we had back in the 80’s/ early 90’s not these over rated franchises that just suck!!! It was even good the next day heated up in microwave and nowadays you can’t do that u can tell it’s homemade crust and not frozen the sauce was great and the toppings were perfect!!!! My hubby is picky and he loved this pizza we had the deluxe pizza only thing was could of been cooked just a bit longer cuz it was a little soggy in middle only because of the veggies and the condensation from being in box and delivery bag but I will definitely be ordering from here again #lovemom&poppizzashops!!!!!!
I wanted to give this place a try given all of the positive comments and reviews I have seen on the internet, not just here on google. I have had a lot of pizza around the Cleveland area and typically, I can’t find a bad pizza here. It is great that this man has ran a pizza shop for many years and continues to do so even through hardship. I’m sure they are great people. The pizza is awful. It looks like grade school pizza. The crust was underdone, the cheese tasted gummy and… off, the pepperoni was gross as well. Taste-wise, this reminded me of a chef boyardee pizza. The redeeming factor of my review is their cheesy bread, which was passable. It was good enough to eat a few pieces of. The side of sauce was really good! The crust was more cooked than the pizza but it had a similar grainy texture like the pizza. If the pizza had been cooked a little longer it may have been edible, but I don’t think I would try this again.
I decided to try his place solely because it was nearby and didn’t want to drive. I had pizza in the surrounding area, local and store chains. The staff or owners was very friendly and I’m sure their other menu selections are good but wasn’t to happy with the pizza. 🍕 The pizza seemed basic and not much of a crunch crust. It wasn’t bad - but for me it felt like a Chef Boyarde 🧑🍳 pizza from the box. I was disappointed and wished I skipped the place. I’m Sorry I couldn’t provide a better review perhaps it was a bad day. I eat lots of pizzas throughout my life from the west to the east, north n south. Yet I’m glad others find this place great for their pizza, for me maybe in the far future to try again.
