See All ReviewsSo I'm always skeptical of soul food spots. Because one bad part of the meal can ruin everything. When I walked in, it felt like my grandma's house. You know you can feel the love. The establishment was very clean and the staff was hospitable. The menu was small but that's because you can tell it's a rotating menu. I got the fried pork chop, green beans and Mac and cheese for just over 15. It came with a piece of cornbread but I turned it down. Man when I tell you they didn't skip on the portion size. As a large man it's rare when I'm full of one plate and was i ever. The pork chop was lightly friend and as big as my hand. Lightly seasoned and moist throughout. The green beans didn't feel seasoned too me but they was fresh with that small when I bite in that I like. Nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fix. For the Mac and cheese, it was just right. You know like you get at cookouts or holidays. The cheese wasn't overpowering, the noodles was just tender and it was moist. Both sides came in a container about one inch do and as big as my palm. It's safe to say if I'm every downtown again I'll be stopping by.
Run don't walk! The food is delicious! My husband and I originally went because of Mac$pecialz review and were not disappointed! The pig feet are juicy, tender, and flavorful! The honey garlic baked chicken exceptional! Everything is seasoned to perfection. This was our second trip and we'll definitely be going back!
Food was really good and the customer service was amazing! Especially the young man working behind the counter. He was very polite and helpful. I’ll definitely visit them again!!
