The bacon grilled shrimp are fried in the fryer and the shrimp was way overdone. We've been going to this place since they opened and it seems to be going downhill. The seafood stuffed flounder was good last time I ate it. Hopefully it gets turned around. We really like the place.
Very disappointed. New to the area and trying different places. Our party felt that this was 100% a kitchen issue and not a server issue. Our server was so attentive and personable. Started off with 2 apps. Mozzarella sticks and Jalapeño peppers. Waited almost half an hour for the appetizers just to be told they were out of the Jalapeño peppers. No big deal. We got our cheese sticks shortly after. We noticed the party of 6 that came in after our party of 6 was sat already had their appetizers. We waited another 10 minutes and our kiddos chicken comes out. The male server asked if we had chicken tenders and we said no we had the nuggets but its ok they didnt need to go back and remake them. We thought it was put in wrong and we didnt mind the mix up. Turns out he brought the wrong appetizer of Jalapeño peppers to the other table and thats why we didnt get ours and that was the last order and the chicken nuggets went to the other 6 top and they took them after we were given their tenders by mistake. Then we were at an hour waiting on food while the 6 top after us had already been served their food and were getting packed up to go. My husband had the crawfish etoufee and it was warm when it came out. My nephew had a cheeseburger with bacon which wasn't on there so the server needed to go back and have the kitchen add it. Then my sisters fried scallops came out and she said they seemed like they had been sitting a while. Then about 15/20 minutes later our 3 crab dishes came out. Unfortunately the seasoning on the crab was too spicy for my sister so she couldn't eat hers. Half way thru one cluster everyone else at our table had finished eating and they were ready to go. We got our ticket and we're informed they had tried to charge us for several things like the Jalapeño peppers which were given to the other table and a few other things that our server tried to comp. Our server was phenomenal. Very personable, attentive, and seemed to be the only server in the whole place taking care of several tables. We dont think we will be back unfortunately. We know staff issues can be fixed but waiting from 6:45 to 8:20 from start to finish is not something we want to do again.
Jumbo fried shrimp is delicious. Service inside hasn’t always been fast but when I call ahead and go to the drive through for pick up they are very friendly. It’s not fast food but it’s worth the reasonable wait.
