I have eaten breakfast here twice a month with my son for at least a year and when I lived closer every Saturday morning. The Big Man is my go too. But I'm starting to wonder about the milkshakes.
Grossest food I’ve had in Detroit. Didn’t even know it was possible to have a grilled chicken pita taste bad. Chicken was rubbery w/ a horrible taste and the fries were undercooked… smh.
Great huge portions. Very highly recommend l!
This place is horrible… food nor service were anywhere close to decent, let alone acceptable. They need to completely re-staff from the front of the house to the back!
I would have given it a better rating, but the service was not up to par. I asked for a hot chocolate mix with coffee and the waitress gave me a hard time about that saying they don't normally do that because of the refills. I have gotten it there before. That did not make sense to me and I told her I didn't want a refill. I just wanted my coffee mix with hot chocolate. I ordered a side salad with feta cheese and the feta cheese was spoiled. I walked past the kitchen to use the restroom and heard them talk in trash about me saying the feta cheese was spoiled. It smelled like sour milk and the guy in the kitchen said the worst the smell the better the cheese. I always eat feta cheese and it is not supposed to smell like soured milk.. They did give me a salad without the feta cheese. The food is good, but I would appreciate better service.
11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and the parking lot (front & side, at least) are full but the overflow has space. All the look of a 50's style diner, right down to the music which was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk (i.e., perfect volume). OK, the ladies aren't wearing poodle skirts but they were a bit sexist. The server greeted me quickly but seemed a bit overwhelmed as she was the only one working the floor at the time. Understandable considering the number of diners to deal with at the time. She was pleasant despite the workload and checked in several times after my meal arrived. All the accouterments one expects at a diner right down to the creamer and jam. Menu is pretty broad, especially where sandwiches are concerned. Fish sandwiches, gyros, burgers, hot dogs (Coney, plain, etc.), melts. A fairly substantial breakfast section and salads & soups round it out well. I went with the Classic burger & fries. The burger is huge & the amount of fries is substantial. I ordered the burger medium but it came medium-well. It wasn't juicy like it should've been but was flavorful still. Next time I'll sit at the counter (missed that on the way in). There's a drive-thru in case you want to "grab and go", too. An FYI: if you pay by plastic, you will pay the credit card charge. I don't mind, but I was unaware. I'd definitely return.
Top rate diner restaurant! It is a like 50's diner type of restaurant. They do serve breakfast all day! This place was super good. We had a gyro & a chicken club sandwich both with fries and fountain drinks. The workers are very friendly. There is a dinning room and there is also a eat at counter. We sat at the counter which has view of the open kitchen area. It was really cool! This is a great place! You would not be disappointed in trying it. Check them out....
Still Awesome place to come for good food, Monterey Chicken Wrap, so good!! staff is great!! Philly Steak sooo good too! Chicken noodle soup! The best grill chicken club sandwich by far!!
