I walked 12 blocks to this place to get some fried fish. I walked past the place twice because the picture that's on Google is not a current picture. Someone was washing their car right in front of the entrance on the sidewalk. It was dirty on the outside of the store and I peeked my head in and it was dirty and dingy as well. How do they expect people to come in and spend money and feel safe that they will not get food poisoning if they can't do simple basic maintenance.
Shrimp was over cooked as hard as hell. Grease old and dirty. Usually don’t get bad food from here but this is ridiculous for $30.
This restaurant is amazing. I stopped in and ordered take out. I ordered whiting fish, peas and rice and carrots. The price was very reasonable and the portion size was great. Most importantly is the taste. The food was delicious 😋. I will definitely order food from here again. The guy who worked there was very nice. Great neighborhood spot.
