First time trying this place it was ok something about the sauce didn’t sit well with me. The driver was extremely friendly and the service overall was good. The cheese was sliding off my pizza as well I guess during the drive here. Probably wouldn’t order again but the service was good.
Experience and service were phenomenal. The owner was amazing. The pizza was a 10/10. Highly recommend.
Great little spot for good pizza and people who really love what they do. This is a nice gem in the community!
I love the pizza here and the staff is always very nice and respectful.
Great pizza! Been coming here forever, recommend for a quick bite
After a long, busy day, sometimes all you need is a simple, satisfying slice of pizza to wrap things up. That’s exactly what I found at Lena’s Pizzeria, a small, cozy spot that feels welcoming. I wasn’t looking for anything complicated, just something delicious, and Lena’s delivered. I ordered a slice of sausage pizza and a Squirt, a straightforward but classic combo. The pizza arrived hot, with a thin but sturdy crust that had just the right amount of crispness on the bottom while staying soft and slightly chewy on top. It had that unmistakable homemade taste, the kind that reminds you of a family-run pizzeria where quality still matters. The tomato sauce was well-balanced, not too sweet or tangy, and spread evenly without overpowering the toppings. The cheese, a blend of mozzarella with a slight stretch to it, had a rich, creamy texture and a subtle hint of saltiness that complemented the sauce beautifully. The sausage was the highlight, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, adding a savory depth to every bite. Each piece had a crisp, slightly caramelized edge from the oven, enhancing the overall flavor. The atmosphere at Lena’s was exactly what I needed. Not too busy, no loud distractions, just a quiet, welcoming space to enjoy a great slice of pizza. The owner was friendly and kind, adding to the charm of the place. There was no rush, no interruptions, just a chance to unwind and appreciate a simple, well-made meal.
Lenas , never had it . Didnt know this place existed in the neighborhood and the recommended spot was closed. Let's try it, placed a order for large cheese and sausage nothing special my motto is if you cant get a simple right I won't be back $$$$. Pick up of course , i opened the box and immediately I can see greatness.like opening up the ark where the 10 commandments are . I proceed to eat this mirage to make sure its real like the box says big red letters. It was just about to take top spot on my list until the sausage didnt get thru the greatness filter. Lenas u got a good thing going I swear u do . U almost have the total package in what a true Chicago thin crust is suppose to be. The sausage may be home made like u advertise. I took a closer look no fennel seeds or Italian spices , im sorry but it taste like it came out of a bag from a vendor . If u nail the sausage down pat u got a amazing pie worth emptying my pockets for another box of Lenas
We've been going to Lena's for about 7 yrs. Everytime we go, the pizza is hot and fresh. The cheese is so good. We've tried their gelato also, I love the pistachio one. We moved about 4 yrs ago and still try to come by for our pizza nights. We've tried other pizza spots around Chicago and South burbs, we love Lena's thin crust. My husband and I get the spinach and the kids get half pepperoni and half spinach.
