See All ReviewsA traditional Alsatian restaurant in the "Petite Venise" district of Colmar. The restaurant's location is excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is decent, the beer is good, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, you only have one hour to eat, after which you have to give up the table.
We visited Les Bateliers on their last service of the night and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was lively and pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the La Choucroute d’Alsace aux 5 viandes, which personally wasn’t to my taste, but my partner had the Le Jambonneau mijoté, pommes de terre sautées, which was absolutely delicious—so we ended up sharing 😉 Overall, we had a great time. Just a small note, the restaurant had a slightly strong cheese smell, but it didn’t take away from the experience.
My favorite place in Colmar! Even though it's located in one of the most touristy areas, it is definitely not a tourist trap. It’s one of the most delicious restaurants I’ve been in Colmar. The atmosphere feels very cozy and authentic, and the staff is absolutely charming and warm. The food is excellent—perfect if you want to try the local cuisine. I’m still dreaming about the onion tart! The quality is top and the prices are very fair. I can’t recommend it enough! I will definitely be back!
