Amazing time ! Highly recommended
I feel awful about leaving this review because I genuinely believe people deserve a second chance and I’ll try something else next time but man I ordered 2 enchiladas and this is not what I consider an enchiladas. It taste and smells like dog food :( I’m trying so hard to enjoy it bc I believe in supporting small businesses but this is nearly dog food im horrified and it is no where near what I wanted or expected…
As a proud melanin women, I went out of my way to support a Spanish owned business, hoping to enjoy some good pupusas and good vibes. I ordered 3 pupusas for $12 two cheese, one pulled pork. The young lady who answered the phone was very sweet and respectful, so I had high hopes. They told me 15 minutes, but when I arrived a little after 5 minutes, my order was already ready. That was the first red flag. The food was nicely wrapped, but when I opened it up at the park to eat, I was beyond disappointed. The pupusas were falling apart, and the pulled pork was not even pork I don't know what it was, but it wasn’t edible. Everything was thrown all over the plate like someone didn’t care. The whole meal was trash. Nothing tasted right, and it felt like they played with my food after hearing my voice. It’s time we start leaving honest reviews people are out here trying to support small businesses, but some of these businesses are giving low-quality service and food. I wish I would’ve taken a picture, but I was too upset. I DO NOT recommend Lily’s Cafe. They need to get their kitchen and customer service in order ASAP. I should’ve known better. Never again.
