Lino's was a wonderful experience for us. We had our funeral luncheon in the afternoon. They fed about 50 people. The food was fantastic, hot & ready for us as we came in. Such good food! The staff was so good to us and our family. All around it was a great venue and I highly recommend it.
Lino's is arguably the best Italian food in Rochester, and one of the top Italian restaurants in southeast Michigan. I have been going there from time to time for the last 30 years... Actually since I was an infant. My baptism party was there also 🙂. They offer a variety of authentic Italian dishes, homemade breads, and specialty pastas. The gnocchi are on par with grandma's. Calamari is tender, not tough, and comes with a variety of cuts. Service is always excellent, and the bar is well stocked with Italian favorites. Lastly, the quaint indoor space is perfect for a more intimate dining experience. Cannot recommend highly enough, as someone who has grown up with homemade southern Italian cuisine!
This is a solid "good" restaurant. I would need to visit several times and try more dishes to see if it desired a higher rating. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, dark woods with tables or booths and a separate bar area. Very clean. Good selection on the menu with average prices. My salad was fresh and crisp. Chicken piccata was very tasty and the portion was generous. My cannoli was absolutely the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and efficient. This restaurant has been here for fourty years, so they must be doing many things right. I definitely will be going back.
