7 months agoNov 13 2025 2pm. I don't recommend this place. The bartender tried to get me to tip twice. An automatic tip was added to my bill and then I was given the Clover tap to pay machine and asked to pay another tip without ever being given an itemized receipt. So I repeatly asked for an itemized receipt; and it showed that an automatic service charge was already added to my bill.

a year agoA bit pricey but worth the money and worth the wait. Everything was so fresh & delicious, the girl that took my order was so sweet & attentive. I got the wing and shrimp basket with potato wedges & my friend got the burger and onion rings, the seasoning was just right and everything was a 10/10

a year agoI ordered the shrimp and crab quesadilla on doordash. My original dasher was waiting forever and then canceled. My second dasher said they were extremely busy. I was a little annoyed at the wait time, but the food.... I opened the box to see a hearty portion of the onion rings, and they tasted pretty good. However, my soul ascended when I bit into the quesadilla. I see colors a bit more clearly every bite I take. Thank you for your service ♡

a year agoThe food was great, but customer service was horrible. The waitress she need to tighten up on her outfit. She didn’t wanna talk as much. It just was not a great look for that business. You need to re-clean your staff and get everybody in order.

2 years agoI have been coming to this establishment for several years and almost always have a good time. The food is good but I had an issue recently. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. And that wouldn’t have been a problem for me if she had shown the itemized bill but she only showed me the total. I tipped not knowing that gratuity (18%) is automatically added to the bill. In this case, it means that the server got ~$15 in tip for a bill that consisted of one drink and a combo meal. The service that I received was subpar, so I don’t believe a tip that large was warranted when I had to be calling the waitress over just so me and my friend could order. I always tip, but I would appreciate more transparency about automatic fees when being presented with the bill.

2 years agoDid a door dash first time from here tried to call kept getting hung up on. The chicken wings all taste the same garlic parm/ honey/ house drip and the wings were so salty I couldn’t eat them. I have heart issues and they were loaded in salt both orders we ordered. The potato wedges were okay. However they charged me 3.50 for fried potato’s with onion and peppers and didn’t deliver. Very dangerous level of salt.

Edited 6 years agoComing from a city like Miami, and visiting Richmond for the first time I didn’t know what to expect with late night options to eat. My niece suggested Liquid Cafe. Everyone who knows me knows I really like nice places, so all she kept saying was I promise this will be the best fried chicken you’ve had in your life. Okay, the ambiance is nothing to write about, especially since we sat upstairs, but if you like to smoke hookah while enjoying your meal they have that to offer. I start every business at 3 stars and they were down to 2 stars, the waitress was really sweet, back up to 3 stars. It took 45 minutes to get our food, back down to 2 stars , one of us got the wrong order, down to 1 star, and then it happen. I tasted the chicken and shrimp, and I just looked at my niece and said “This is freaking delicious” it was like an explosion of fried chicken flavor in my mouth. Back up to 4 stars. I took them back up to 4 stars, because they advertise themselves for the amazing flavor of their food, not the ambiance or being quick, and they didn’t lie, their food is amazing. My suggestion is call in your order, get it to go, or come with friends ready to sit a while and laugh while you wait for the most amazing Fried Chicken you’ve ever had. Enjoy Xoxo Lorenzo!
