Customer service was extremely excellent!!! While walking in I witnessed a female co-worker walking an older woman to her car. I thought nothing of it, But then I noticed the same woman walking another elderly woman in to sit down and eat. I thought to myself, Wow! This place is filled with love and support. I ordered my food the servers were very polite. Chicken fried stake, greens with potatoes and mac n cheese. It sounds simple but it was delicious, vintage. Throw back cooking taste!!! It has that big mama down home cooking taste.
I got the smothered rib plate and my wife the knee bone plate. Portions were great as were the prices. Highly suggest this hidden gem. And it’s older people serving so if you want fast service go to McDonalds right across the way.
I ordered smothered pork chop that had the biggest bone and gristle throughout- that i had to chew. Wanted mashed potatoes and was informed that they would not be making anymore instant potatoes at 4pm. Then i was offered a peach cobbler that i do not believe should be served.
