11 months agoI really like Lissette and stop by each time I’m in the area. I’ve always gone in and ordered to go. I’ve probably been ten times and almost always for the lunch special—10 bucks for meat, rice, plantains, beans, and a drink. I have only once thought the meat wasn’t as good as usual, so personally I learned to look and see what looks the best that day. Their pork is awesome, hot and fresh, and their servings are generous.

a year agoMy 1st and last time going here. I ordered pernil with yellow rice and red beans. Everything was so salty and I couldn't eat most of the pork because it was so tough and burnt. I would not recommend this place at all if this is the type of food they serve. They will not see me again

a year agoTERRIBLE SERVICE!! My family and I called to order food. Our order came to $100. I asked the guy on the phone what was in the burrito. He stated “(meat), rice, beans, guacamole, cheese and tomato”. I told him I can’t have cheese/dairy or tomato so to put the guac on the side and leave the cheese off. My burrito arrived drenched in sour cream and also had sour cream inside. I called back and told them I couldn’t have dairy as I expressed when I placed my order and that I wouldn’t be able to eat my food. They said they would send a new one. Fine. Two minutes later they called back and the guy I spoke to proceeded to BERATE ME and tell me I only told him I couldn’t have cheese and that I mentioned nothing about sour cream. I told him that I mentioned I couldn’t have cheese or dairy but even if I didn’t, he never informed me that there was sour cream in or on the burrito. To which he responds “well you should know sour cream comes in a burrito”. WHAT?? The unprofessionalism and sheer rudeness that was displayed to me as a paying customer was completely unacceptable!! This man was literally yelling at me and making it seem like it was my fault. Someone had to take the phone from him and apologize. They sent a new burrito after all that. Not only was it mediocre at best, but this experience will make me NEVER give them another dime of my money!! If you want low-quality food and terrible customer service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are far better places to choose from. NEVER. AGAIN.

2 years agoThe only good thing were the smoothies but food was not. The chicken teriyaki did not taste like teriyaki at all, rice was boring, they have plenty room to improve its flavors. Latin food and primarily Mexican food needs its seasoning!!!

3 years agoHorrible. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. Instead, I got cold, tasteless shrimp "tacos" with dry tortillas. No seasoning at all. Since when is an enchilada upright and open-faced, and not smothered in cheese?? Terrible!!

3 years agoOne of my favorite restaurant for the black bean nacho with guacamole, only to find a Staple inside of my food. Ever since the name change, the Quality of food changed as well. Jesus taco should never make a mistake like this, check the plate before you serve the food! More reasons to make my own black bean nacho at home from now on.

6 years agoI was looking for Mexican food! I found a Chinese-owned place. Ok. Food was not bad, but the place was not the cleanest and the experience of eating Mexican food is just gone. Sad!!
