See All ReviewsI'll say it - best dumplings in Portland! I just had the tofu momo (dumpling) soup, and it was to die for! The dumplings were dense, chewy and soft at the same time. The broth had great depth of flavor with some fresh herbs that made it a combination of satiating and restorative (a welcome option when there are so many greasy foods available). It is the perfect meal for a fall day - soul-nourishing soup! You want to eat this today!
The gentleman was so kind and even though they were closing , he made me a wrap and my dogs some chicken and rice. Such good food! Very appreciative , I wish they were open more I made a special trip since I saw their open sign on and just made it 🙌. The weather sucks, but my mouth is happy 😊
TLDR; the chow mein is to die for and is legitimately authentic. We visited on the weekend on a very rainy day, with almost no one around. Ordered tofu momos, tofu chili momos and veg chowmein (no tofu, only veggies). The noodles are really the star for me - they were so darn authentic that I felt like I was home again, the flavor is very clean - no greasiness at all. The momos were pretty nice too - not a fan of the sauce that comes with the regular momos but the chili gravy that comes with the chili momos is absolutely fantastic. It is rather spicy, but still really flavorful. Portions are enormous, the momos were nearly 3 inches long and you get about 8 pieces per plate. We definitely over ordered and had to take half the food home. There’s plenty of covered seating spaces which was a life saver given how hard it was pouring.
