a year agoThis spot is a hidden gem on Bell School. I've always had a good meal with friendly, prompt service. If you're in the area, skip the chains by the mall and stop here instead of a good, affordable meal.

a year agoI always love Mexican food, and this one it’s amazing, absolutely will come again when we in Rockford! The price is affordable for the portion you will get. The service also nice, i came here in slow time so the atmosphere make me cozy with classic Mexican music 👌 They have big restroom and clean. So far so great for the authentic Mexican food!

2 years agoOne of the most authentic Mexican places I’ve seen around Rockford area. Simple dishes with very good flavors and really love the decorative dining room, which I’m sure is ideal for parties. It is, however, time to get rid of service fee. I’m sure if locals like this place but as someone driving through, this place was definitely worthwhile.

2 years agoDelicious food. I had the enchiladas with mole sauce. Excellent-refried beans. Chips salsa chipotle white sauce guacamole all outstanding. Will be back soon!

3 years agoWe went to eat between lunch and dinner time, but I am pretty sure people don't normally come here for the food. It is set up for a dance club. But...they SHOULD come for the food! The rice and beans were pretty good. The carnitas and beef were slow cooked forever and really nicely flavored. The steak was sooooo tender. The shrimp was not overcooked. All of the grilled meats were just really good. You get a LOT of sourcream with your food, if that's what you're into. The salsa was really mild, but the green one tastes like jalapenos and is a tiny bit spicy. The staff was great. I believe that they were probably the owners and the cooks. Go!

3 years agoGreat food, service is beyond great! I don't know why this place is not packed every night! Come on folks, you will love it if you just get off your couch and come out. News flash, the pandemic is over!
