I started coming here over 10 years ago, since it was close to work. I'm noelw over 15 miles away and still come here once a month because of the food, the family and the generous portions.
We visited Lola Adang Kusina during our trip to Chicago for my son’s boot camp graduation, and it was such a comforting and satisfying experience. The restaurant has a limited number of dishes displayed, but every single one is classic Filipino home-style food—simple, authentic, and truly delicious. My daughters and I really enjoyed our lunch. The flavors reminded us of home, and the portions were worth the price. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like family. They even gave us extra pansit (noodles) as a freebie, which was such a thoughtful gesture and definitely appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience—great food, kind people, and a taste of home away from home. Highly recommended!
Authentic Filipino food. Servings are pretty big. Affordable prices for a decent and tasty home dish food. Support local business.
