See All ReviewsFirst thing I noticed is that the venue was spacious. A few customers, the rate of clientele is steady. Many orders to go. So not too crowded on as Saturday afternoon. I tried the plato Típico #1 composed of two pupusas (of choice), 2 fried plátanos and crema. Then I ordered 2 empanadas served with a curtido (sorta of like a saukrat profile of vinegar cabbage, carrots, beets, and spices). Lastly, I ordered chicharrones de puerco (port butt or shoulder pork meat pieces cooked and then fried con yuca ( fried cassava root) y curtido. For my friend I ordered the fried mojarra plate and she loved every bit of it. And lastly left with a quesadilla bread. A Saturday brunch of big back activities, clearly.
I really enjoy this place it was good I recommend and is coming from a Mexican so definitely come and visit them 🤤🤤🤤
Los Guanacos is hands down the best Salvadoran restaurant around! Every dish is packed with authentic flavors, but the real showstopper is **La Maricada**—the **best seafood soup** I’ve ever had! The broth is rich and savory, loaded with fresh shrimp, fish, crab, and just the right amount of spice. Every spoonful is pure comfort! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff makes you feel like family. Whether you're craving pupusas, yuca frita, or their incredible seafood dishes, Los Guanacos never disappoints. **Do NOT leave without trying La Maricada—it’s a must-order!** **Pro tip:** Pair it with an ice-cold horchata or a Salvadoran beer for the perfect meal. ¡Delicioso! 🍤🔥
