The best authentic Mexican food! The place is a little small but so worth it. I always get their carne guisada, reminds me so much of my mom's when growing up. It can get busy. 100/10 recommend 👌🏻
I can't believe they are asking people to not believe the reviews that are negative 🤔First if all it was a very disappointing experience 😕 The establishment was very clean and nice decor and tables along with the finishes👍🏻 But unfortunately an awful customer service experience 😢 The tall very young light skinned waitress was very rude and dismissive. Not a smile or welcome and she had 0 knowledge about the food she serves. I asked what was in the Shrimp tacos 🌮and she said nothing. I said no cilantro or cabbage or crema just plain shrimp and tortilla? He reply with a very bothered look was YES! Okay so the Carne Guisada was great not so much the rice and beans they tasted like form the can and microwaved periodddd. Tortillas were descent, My mom's shredded chicken taco (was very dry just like the waitress attitude)😒 and they forgot her salad...not a sorry or even my bad periodddd just plate slammed on the table. I thought I was on candid camera. Not once did she rerurn to ask to refill our coffee and Iced tea 🤔. I came here as I child to adulthood and it was such an amazing place awesome food and amazing service. Not sure what happened with this reopening is it the same ownership 🤔 Also please get a new cook....this cook pays no attention to detail on how he or she prepares the meals🙄😤
Wonderful family restraunt with a feeling of home cooked meal feel. Wonderful staff and Great service.
They’re back! It’s still darn good! We will always frequent this family favorite. Enchiladas, crispy tacos, and salsa were all on point! Thank you all for the coca mexicana and the same great recipes and cooks that keep us coming back!
Been coming here for about 40 years. Always good food & service. My favorite is the cheese enchiladas. They were shut down for a while & just reopened. I must say, I was very disappointed. The place wasn't full but it took 20 minutes for someone to get our drink order. We were there for over an hour before we got our food. We asked for no cheese on the tostadas & they had cheese. They forgot one order entirely. To top things off, we had to eat our food with flimsy plastic forks & 1 tiny napkin each. We asked for tortillas to go & never got them. We reminded the waitress & had to wait another 15 minutes for them. Idk what has changed but I don't think I'll be back nor will the other 5 ppl I was with. It's unfortunate bc this was always our go to Mexican restaurant. It's actually sad bc we couldn't wait for them to reopen & were so looking forward to our visit.
I had a very disappointing experience. There was no greeting, no “good morning,” and I wasn’t offered a menu while waiting to order. The staff seemed untrained and unfamiliar with the system, which took the forever just to assist people. It took about 20 minutes just for someone to attempt to take my order didn't even get to order because I walked away because they walked away from the register at one point, another customer had to walk up to the counter themselves just to pay because no one was assisting them. Same employee that told me to wait so she can take my order walked away from the register, then stopped to gossip with another worker instead of trying to help anyone else out. It felt like they were avoiding taking orders altogether. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re prepared to waste your time.
This place is open till midnight. If you are looking for a late night spot to get some filling in your stomach I can suggest this as an option. I wouldn’t get my hopes up on perfection but it is definitely still worth the price you pay. The food was pretty decent, however this did over cook my friend’s steak severely. The staff also doesn’t speak English so keep that in mind if you do not know Spanish.
This place was actually decent. The waitress didn't really understand to much English and I didn't know very much Spanish.. but we managed to get what we wanted. And the food was amazing! I got the chicken fajita nachos and a shrimp cocktail. The cheese dip and salsa was the best. I'm picky about my salsa.. and they had it perfect. But the waitress was very attentive and hospitable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.
