Eh. This place got recommended to me & the food was alright. Frijoles lacked flavor & they were cold. Wish the salsa was spicier. I guess If I want authentic Mexican food I’ll just make it at home or go to my grandma’s house. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is used to good home cooked Mexican food.
Been here plenty of times with Granma , we always enjoyed our time there and no complaints, however today was the opposite, first things first the Young Waitress got my Agua Fresca Wrong and I asked what was available she said Limonda and Jamaica, I said fantastic Ill get a Jamaica. Then I got a lemonade no poblem but then she gave my Grandma her coffee with no Sugar no milk . Now for the food The wait time has never been more than 15 minutes before but today it was just us two and I ordered her a Caldo and the restaurants name special, 15 minutes waiting for my food the waitress asked me what I asked for again . For the Caldo de res they took 35minutes and it wasn't even good my Grandma said . I don't know what happened to the customer service but if we ever feel like going back , I'll leave an honest review. One more thing when we walked in we needed to find our table and I noticed a lot of the empty tables were dirty and plates weren't picked up.
You need to come try the food here. This is a legitimate Mexican restaurant business. They do many many things right. If you haven’t tried them because they are attached to a motel, get over it and come try the food. It is lively, clean and the food is delicious. My wife and I had the burritos, steak tacos and beef Flautas. Amazing amazing and left us completely satisfied! We will definitely be back regularly and I would recommend this place hands down over and over.
I went there to have a caldo de res, I always stop at Flying J as a driver to reset hours & fuel; I was feeling like something healthy, but the caldo de res was salty, overcooked & old the rice was hard & cold! Vegetables were so hard & old!! Not coming back there ever…
I drive a truck and had a breakdown yesterday so was forced to spend the night in El Paso while the truck is in repair. It’s not a vacation, so I picked the closest motel to the shop. The closest place to eat was a Denny’s about a 1/4 mile away, but was too lazy to walk. I decided to eat a little breakfast at this small little restaurant attached to the motel, Los Pueblos. I always like to give a mom & pop my business, instead of playing it safe with a chain restaurant. And I’m glad I did. Restaurant wasn’t packed, but it’s a very nice feel. The place is comfortable.and feels like you’re south of the border. Three TV screens on the corners of the restaurant helps pass the time while you wait for your mean. And I didn’t wait long. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which were two eggs over easy on a warm tortilla. A side of refried beans and some breakfast potatoes. It was really good, fresh, filling and tastes homemade, and at only $11.99, couldn’t go wrong. Their coffee is really good too. My server was Nereyda, who was a very nice and polite lady. A friendly face who made sure I was enjoying myself, that my coffee cup was always filled, and made sure I was enjoying my breakfast. I felt welcome and I recommend this place. I didn’t have lunch. But their lunch menu is very affordable and looks appetizing!
I had a great experience at Los Pueblos Mexican Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Our server, Nereyda, was amazing!!! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her service really made the visit even better. Highly recommend eating here!
First day of my Stacation and looking for a new Breakfast spot ,, we came upon this ABSOLUTE GEM right on the side of I10 near the Horizon exit. I can't even put in words to describe the AMAZING taste, absolutely inviting atmosphere and to top it off the waitress Brenda was absolutely attentive & friendly. My wife usually is not into beans but these were so good she had to dig in. Thank God we are not far from here. We will absolutely be making this a regular stop. If you love the old home style Mexican cuisine like Abuelita use to make this is your place!!!!! 10 out of 10 !!!! Oh and don't forget about the Cafe de Olla ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!
This place is amazing! The aguas chiles hit the spot! Their salsas so good and authentic! Got an order of ribs and added the salsa 😋 if you dont like too much spice ask them to not put alot of chile in the aguas chiles as the waiter told me its really hot. Customer service was real nice! Definately reccomend this place.
