I have been in the AV for three years and I didn't know that this Korean BBQ place existed. They served all the meat quickly and the waitress and manager were very attentive. Also we had trouble with the grill but they were quick to fix the issue. They were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place. Will be coming back soon!
TOTAL RIP OFF! CHARGED US 60 DOLLAR TIP WITHOUT CONSENT!!! Okay so, firstly i am a teenager and went to eat with a bunch of my other friends, we were a party of 8 but split the table between 4 per grill, we each got the all you can eat, the place is kinda outdated and a bit dirty but the reviews looked great so we gave it a try, the grills do not have a range hood directly over the grills, which is very inconvenient and not okay depending on where youre sitting, smoke was bellowing into my eyes and i was constantly breathing it in which negatively affected my experience, the meat, though tasty, wasnt anything super special, especially if you have been outside of the AV to eat kbbq, the servers were nice but not very attentive, the most they interact for is to ask you for your order of meat and the robot brings it, there is meat juices all over the robot that gets onto your plates which i didnt appreciate, mostly everything is self serve including the sides (minus the rice) we each split our bills and were expecting around 38-40 bucks payment, but instead we each payed around 50 dollars each, they do not tell you but they charge for soft drinks which is okay whatever, not a huge deal, but what we didnt notice immediately was that they charge you 15% tip themselves on the receipt, since we got ours split 8 ways, they charged us 15% tip on every single 45-50 dollar bill, which if you do the math means they charged us around 50-64 dollars in just tip!! which is absolutely INSANE and a total rip off!! im very upset and disappointed in the fact the waiter saw that we were teenagers and took advantage of that, i would never come here again and pleaseee make sure to check your bill before you pay!!
Honestly I was skeptical about trying kbbq in the AV compared to Ktown. I was really surprised at how good it is. The price is reasonable, the marination and the selection to choose from is great. If any suggestions, perhaps add the korean macaroni pasta, and rice paper. Other than that the banchan variety is decent. Kimchi also has great flavor. Service is great. Would definitely come back.
