I can state that this bbq stand is a hidden jewel. The owner is very inviting and pleasant to meet. He allow you to sample his food. The meats were smoked to perfection. I plan on to revisit this establishment in the near future .
Rain affected the food being ready due to wet wood but the owner Greg fixed us a complimentary plate for the road trip to hold us over.. Traveling from Waxo to Baton Rouge. He was so kind, giving and food was so delicious and asked nothing in return. Hopefully can go back next years trip. You will not be disappointed, go eat here!!!
Showed up before he opened, we didn't know that the place had hours or anything. The owner was gracious, served us despite not being fully opened for the day. The pork sandwich was AMAZING!!! The sauce was delicious and you could tell it was homemade. While we were there, he gave us a sample of the brisket, and it was also AMAZING. If you are in the Stonewall area on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday then you have got to give this place a try. It is sooooo worth it.
