My husband and I go here often especially on special occasions the owner Mark is wonderful and the food is fantastic love love love love love lucerne's fondue
A lot of people feel they are critics when writing reviews, and so I always hesitate making them but this place is worthy of an outstanding review. We came to visit for our anniversary, and while my boyfriend does great fondue at home à la my 70s kitchenware, I was told again and again to try Lucerne’s and couldn’t help asking him if we could go for our anniversary. It did not disappoint and the owner should be proud of the unique and utterly magical place he has created. We both walked away so happy and elated from our wonderful experience, which was perfect for our romantic night. From the whimsical and eccentric setting, being in a beautiful old (and possibly haunted) Victorian house turned dining room, to the wonderful and attentive service guiding us through each and every course, the generous wine pour, the slow and romantic pace, and the very agreeable pricing I think we may abandon my old fondue pot to come back again and again. A true treasure in a town they claim doesn’t have fine dining, this is an elevated experience that is fun and so well curated. Naysayers have no whimsy or taste in my humble opinion. I can’t rave about it enough!
First timer here to this establishment: We went to Lucerne's to celebrate a birthday and what a good time. My friends had experienced this establishment before and invited me to join them. What a treat! Lucerne's in not just a meal, it's an EXPERIENCE! Mark was our host and he is an expert in his craft. I loved the ambience, the old Victorian home atmosphere, the paranormal chat, the food...EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! I can't wait to go back. PS: My glass of wine was FREAKIN' HUGE!
